#1 Rose Vanilla Mead

This was my first attempt, so there was a lot of tinkering.

3 lbs Stroope's Texas Wildflower Honey
vanilla bean, split
16 oz. dried rose petals
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tsp. yeast nutrient
1/8 tsp tannin
1 campden tablet
water to one gallon
Champagne yeast

I didn't get an OG reading, my cats were harassing me.
